Most Common Error Codes (TP Series & Similar Models)

• P1: Water bucket/tank not installed properly or full – empty the bucket; ensure it's correctly seated and positioned (for pump models, may indicate bucket issue).
• EH: Humidity sensor fault or defrost/coil temperature issue – unplug for 15-30 minutes to reset; check for ice buildup; if persists, sensor may need replacement.
• E1 / E2: Temperature or humidity sensor fault – reset unit; check connections; may require sensor replacement.
• E3: Refrigeration system protection / extreme temperature exposure – unplug for 24 hours; operate in cooler room (<86°F/30°C); contact support if recurs.
• E5: Abnormal pump drainage (pump models) – check drain hose and pump connections for clogs; ensure hose not kinked; clean pump outlet.

Common Issues & Fixes (2023–2025 Models)

• Not collecting water: Room humidity too low; filter dirty; temperature too low (<41°F without proper defrost); clean filter and ensure proper airflow.
• Coils freezing / ice buildup: Run in Fan Only mode to defrost; avoid very cold rooms; check for low refrigerant (professional service needed).
• Unit won't start or pump not working: Check bucket full switch/float; ensure power; for pump models, verify hose setup and no blockages.
• Noisy operation: Level the unit; clean air filter; ensure no loose parts or obstructions.
• WiFi/Smart not connecting (smart models): Use 2.4 GHz network; reset via app; follow Honeywell Air Comfort App setup.

General Maintenance Tips

• Clean air filter: Every 2 weeks – wash with mild soap, dry fully before reinstalling.
• Bucket cleaning: Empty regularly; use mild cleaner to prevent mold/odors.
• Continuous drain setup: Attach hose securely; ensure drain point is lower or use pump model.
• Storage: Drain fully, clean filter, store upright in dry place.
