Installation & Placement

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a level, stable floor.

  1. Choose Location: Place in the center of the room or area with high humidity, away from walls and furniture for optimal airflow.
  2. Clearance: Ensure at least 12-18 inches of clearance on all sides, especially the air intake and exhaust grilles.
  3. Check Drainage: For continuous drainage, attach a standard garden hose (¾ inch) to the drain port and route to a floor drain or sink.
  4. Power Connection: Plug directly into a grounded 115V AC, 60Hz outlet. Do not use an extension cord.

WARNING! Do not place in temperatures below 41°F (5°C) or above 95°F (35°C). Keep away from heat sources and direct sunlight.

First-Time Setup

Plug in the unit; the control panel will illuminate.

  1. Set Desired Humidity: Press the HUMIDITY button to cycle between 35%, 45%, 55%, 65%, or Continuous mode.
  2. Select Fan Speed: Press FAN button to choose between Low (quiet) and High (Turbo) speed.

Operation Modes

Normal Mode: Set desired humidity level; unit cycles on/off to maintain it. Continuous Mode: Runs constantly until tank is full or turned off, for rapid drying. Turbo Mode: High fan speed combined with Continuous mode for maximum performance. Laundry Mode: Use in closed laundry room to speed up clothes drying (run in Continuous mode).

  1. For daily use, set humidity to 45-50% for comfort.
  2. In basements or during rainy seasons, use 35-40%.
  3. Use Timer to run during peak humidity hours (e.g., overnight) to save energy.

Tip: Close windows and doors in the room where the dehumidifier is running for best efficiency.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Unplug the unit before any maintenance.

  1. Empty Water Tank: Regularly check and empty the tank. Lift straight up to remove; pour out water.
  2. Clean Water Tank: Wash with mild soap and water monthly to prevent mold/mildew. Rinse thoroughly.
  3. Clean Air Filter: Remove filter every 2 weeks (or when FILTER light is on). Rinse under lukewarm water, let dry completely before reinstalling.
  4. Clean Exterior: Wipe cabinet with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
  5. End-of-Season Cleaning: Follow storage instructions below.

WARNING! Never immerse the main unit in water or use harsh chemicals. Do not operate without the filter installed.

Storage & Winterization

If not using for an extended period (e.g., winter):

  1. Unplug the unit.
  2. Empty and thoroughly dry the water tank.
  3. Clean the air filter and let it dry.
  4. Run the unit in FAN ONLY mode for 30 minutes in a warm room to dry internal components.
