Installation & Placement

Maintenance & Cleaning

  2. Empty water tank: When full indicator lights, pull tank straight out, empty, replace.
  3. Clean exterior: Unplug unit, wipe with damp cloth; do not use harsh chemicals.
  4. Clean water tank monthly: Wash with mild detergent, rinse thoroughly.
  5. End-of-season storage: Empty tank, run in Fan mode for 30 minutes to dry internals, store upright in dry place.

WARNING! Always unplug before cleaning. Never immerse unit in water.

Drainage Options

Two drainage methods: Manual (water tank) or Continuous (hose).

Manual Drainage: Use included 1.6-gallon tank. When full indicator lights, remove tank, empty, replace. Ensure tank is properly seated.

Continuous Drainage: Attach standard garden hose (¾" inner diameter, not included) to drain port at back. Place hose end lower than drain port for gravity flow. Ensure hose is not kinked.

CAUTION! For continuous drainage, ensure hose path is downward without loops to prevent water backup.
