Installation & Placement

Unpack and inspect contents. Ensure all parts are present and undamaged.

  1. Choose location: Place on a level, firm surface in the center of the room or area needing dehumidification.
  2. Clearance: Allow at least 12-18 inches of clearance on all sides for proper airflow.
  3. Power connection: Plug directly into a grounded 120V AC, 60Hz outlet. Do not use extension cords.
  4. Drain setup: For bucket operation, ensure bucket is properly seated. For continuous drain, attach hose to drain port and route to floor drain or sink.

WARNING! Do not place near heat sources or in direct sunlight. Ensure the room temperature is between 41°F (5°C) and 95°F (35°C) for optimal operation.

First-Time Setup

Power on the dehumidifier; the control panel will illuminate.

  1. Set desired humidity: Press the HUMIDITY button to select a target level (35%-85%). The unit will run until this level is reached.
  2. Select mode: Choose between Normal, Turbo (for fastest drying), or Auto (maintains set humidity).
  3. Set timer (optional): Use the TIMER button to program automatic start/stop times.
  4. Check filter: Ensure the washable filter is clean and properly installed.

Normal Mode: Standard dehumidification with balanced fan speed and energy use. Turbo Mode: Runs compressor and fan at maximum for fastest moisture removal. Auto Mode: Unit automatically starts and stops to maintain the set humidity level.

  1. Press POWER to turn on.
  2. Press MODE to cycle through Normal, Turbo, and Auto.
  3. Use HUMIDITY buttons to set target humidity level.
  4. For continuous drain, ensure hose is securely attached and draining properly.
  5. Monitor bucket: Empty when FULL indicator lights and unit shuts off.

Tip: For best efficiency, keep doors and windows closed in the room being dehumidified.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity.

  1. Unplug unit before any maintenance.
  2. Empty bucket: Remove and empty water bucket regularly. Clean with mild detergent and rinse.
  3. Clean filter: Remove washable filter every 2-4 weeks. Rinse under lukewarm water, let dry completely, and reinstall.
  4. Clean exterior: Wipe cabinet with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals.
  5. Check coils: Gently vacuum the rear grille and coils every few months to remove dust.
  6. Inspect drain hose: Ensure continuous drain hose is clear of kinks or blockages.

WARNING! Never immerse the unit in water. Do not operate without the filter installed.

Storage & Winterization

If not using for an extended period (e.g., winter), prepare the unit for storage.

  1. Unplug the dehumidifier.
  2. Empty and clean the water bucket thoroughly. Let it dry.
  3. Clean the filter and let it dry completely before reinstalling.
  4. Coil the power cord neatly.
  5. Store in a cool, dry place, protected from dust. Original box is ideal.
  6. If storing in freezing temperatures, ensure unit is completely dry to prevent ice damage.

CAUTION! Do not store with water in the bucket or hose, as this can lead to mold or damage.
