Installation & Placement

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a level, stable floor.

  1. Clear Area: Ensure at least 12-18 inches of clearance on all sides for proper airflow.
  2. Check Bucket: Ensure the water bucket is correctly seated and locked in place.
  3. Power Connection: Plug the unit directly into a grounded 120V AC outlet. Do not use an extension cord.
  4. Initial Positioning: Place in the center of the room or area with highest humidity for best results.

WARNING! Do not operate in temperatures below 41°F (5°C). Ensure the unit is upright for at least 24 hours before first use if transported on its side.

First-Time Setup

Plug in the dehumidifier; the control panel will illuminate.

  1. Set Desired Humidity: Press the HUMIDITY button to select a target level (35%-85% RH).
  2. Select Mode: Choose between Continuous, Auto, or Turbo mode using the MODE button.
  3. Set Timer (Optional): Use the TIMER button to program automatic start/stop times.
  4. For Continuous Drainage: Attach a standard garden hose (¾") to the drain port if desired.

Connecting Drainage

For continuous operation, use the drain hose connection.

  1. Turn off and unplug the unit.
  2. Remove the water bucket.
  3. Locate the drain port on the back of the unit.
  4. Connect a standard ¾" garden hose (not included) to the port. Ensure it is secure.
  5. Route the hose to a floor drain, sink, or sump pump. Ensure the hose path is downhill without kinks.
  6. Replace the empty water bucket. The unit will now drain continuously.

Tip: Check the hose periodically for clogs or leaks.

Operation Modes

Supports multiple modes for efficient moisture control.

  1. Auto Mode: Unit cycles on/off automatically to maintain the set humidity level. Most energy-efficient.
  2. Continuous Mode: Runs the compressor and fan continuously until turned off or the bucket is full.
  3. Turbo Mode: Runs fan at highest speed for maximum air circulation and faster dehumidification.
  4. Timer Mode: Set to turn the unit On or Off after a delay of 1-24 hours.

WARNING! Do not block air intake or exhaust grilles. Operate only within specified temperature range.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Unplug unit before any maintenance.

Regular Cleaning: Wipe exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals.

Air Filter: Clean every 2 weeks or when FILTER light is on.

  1. Remove filter from the front grille.
  2. Vacuum or rinse under lukewarm water. Let air dry completely.
  3. Reinstall filter and press FILTER RESET button.

Water Bucket: Empty regularly. Clean monthly with mild detergent to prevent mold/mildew. Rinse thoroughly.

End-of-Season Storage: Empty and clean bucket. Clean filter. Coil drain hose. Store in a dry, upright position.

CAUTION! Never immerse the main unit in water. Do not operate without the air filter installed.
