Installation & Placement

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on level, stable surface.

  1. Choose location: Place in center of room or area with high humidity, away from walls/furniture (min 12-18 inches clearance).
  2. Ensure proper airflow: Keep vents unobstructed for intake and exhaust.
  3. Check power requirements: Use dedicated 115V outlet; avoid extension cords.
  4. Install casters: Attach wheels to base if not pre-installed.

WARNING! Do not use in temperatures below 41°F (5°C) or above 95°F (35°C). Ensure unit is upright for 24 hours before first use if tilted during transport.

First-Time Setup

Plug into power outlet; follow initial setup steps.

  1. Set humidity level: Press HUMIDITY button to select desired RH% (40-60% recommended).
  2. Select mode: Choose between CONTINUOUS, AUTO (humidistat control), or TURBO.
  3. Set timer (optional): Use TIMER button to program automatic shut-off.
  4. Check filter: Ensure washable filter is clean and properly installed.
  5. Choose drainage: Use internal bucket or connect drain hose for continuous operation.

CAUTION! Handle with care; unit is heavy. Use caster wheels and handle for movement.

Specifications

Controls and Settings

Access controls via digital panel on top of unit.

Control Panel: POWER, MODE (Continuous/Auto/Turbo), HUMIDITY (+/-), TIMER (1-24 hours), FILTER RESET indicator.

Humidity Settings: Adjust from 35% to 85% RH in 5% increments. Auto Mode: Unit runs until set humidity is reached, then cycles on/off. Continuous Mode: Runs constantly regardless of humidity. Turbo Mode: Maximum fan speed for fastest dehumidification. Timer: Set 1-24 hours for automatic shut-off. Filter Alert: LED lights when filter needs cleaning (every 250 hours).

Operation Modes

Three main operating modes for different needs.

  1. Auto Mode: Set desired humidity; unit automatically maintains level.
  2. Continuous Mode: Runs constantly; ideal for very damp areas or drying applications.
  3. Turbo Mode: Maximum moisture removal; use for rapid drying.
  4. Timer Function: Program unit to turn off after set hours.

Tip: For energy efficiency, use Auto Mode with humidity set to 50-55%.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity.

  1. Clean filter: Remove and wash every 250 hours or when FILTER light illuminates.
  2. Empty bucket: When full bucket alert sounds, turn off, remove and empty water container.
  3. Clean exterior: Wipe with damp cloth; do not use harsh chemicals.
  4. Check coils: Keep evaporator and condenser coils free of dust and debris.
  5. End-of-season: Clean thoroughly before storage (see Care & Storage).

WARNING! Always unplug before cleaning. Do not immerse unit in water.

Drainage Options

Two methods for water removal: internal bucket or continuous drain.

Internal Bucket: 16-pint capacity with handle and splash guard. Empty when full bucket alert sounds and auto-shutoff activates.

Continuous Drain: Connect standard garden hose (not included) to drain port at back. Ensure hose runs downward to floor drain or sink. Unit will operate continuously without need to empty bucket.

Care & Storage

Proper storage extends unit life.

  1. Clean thoroughly: Wash filter, empty and dry bucket, wipe exterior.
  2. Drain residual water: Tilt unit slightly to remove any remaining water from internal tank.
  3. Coil storage: Run in fan-only mode for 30 minutes to dry coils before storage.
  4. Store properly: Keep in upright position in dry, temperature-controlled area.
  5. Cover: Use original packaging or breathable cover to prevent dust accumulation.

CAUTION! Do not store with water in bucket or lines. Store in temperatures above freezing.
