Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a level, stable floor.

  1. Positioning: Place unit at least 12 inches from walls and furniture for proper airflow.

First-Time Setup

Plug in the dehumidifier; the control panel will illuminate.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Unplug unit before any maintenance.

  1. Clean Air Filter: Remove filter every 2 weeks (or when FILTER light is on). Wash with warm, soapy water, rinse, and air dry completely before reinstalling.
  2. Clean Exterior: Wipe cabinet with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals.
  3. Clean Water Tank: Empty and clean tank monthly with mild detergent to prevent mold/mildew.
  4. End-of-Season: Follow storage instructions if not using for extended period.

WARNING! Never immerse the unit in water. Do not operate without the air filter installed.

Storage Instructions

If storing the dehumidifier for more than a few weeks:

  1. Unplug the unit and empty the water tank completely.
  2. Clean the tank and air filter as described above. Ensure all parts are completely dry.
  3. Coil the power cord neatly.
  4. Store in a cool, dry place, preferably in the original carton.
