Installation & Placement

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a flat, stable surface.

  1. Positioning: Place unit in center of room, at least 12 inches from walls and furniture for proper airflow.
  2. Level Surface: Ensure unit is level to prevent water leakage.
  3. Ambient Temperature: Operate within specified temperature range (see Specifications).
  4. Power Connection: Plug directly into a grounded 120V AC outlet. Do not use extension cords.

WARNING! Do not place in tight enclosures or block air vents. Ensure room doors/windows are closed for optimal performance.

First-Time Setup

Power on dehumidifier; follow initial setup steps.

  1. Install Filter: Ensure washable air filter is correctly seated in the front grille.
  2. Set Humidity Level: Press HUMIDITY button to set desired RH% (40-60% recommended).
  3. Select Mode: Choose AUTO, CONTINUOUS, or TURBO based on needs.

Operation Modes

Tip: Use AUTO mode for energy efficiency. Use TURBO in very damp conditions, then switch to AUTO.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Unplug unit before any maintenance.

  1. Water Tank: Empty regularly. Clean with mild detergent and rinse. Dry before reinserting.
  2. Air Filter: Clean every 2 weeks or as needed. Remove, rinse with water, let dry completely before reinstalling. Press FILTER RESET.
  3. Exterior: Wipe with soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
  4. Grille and Vents: Use vacuum brush attachment to remove dust.
  5. End-of-Season: Empty tank, clean filter, dry interior, coil and store in a dry place.

CAUTION! Never immerse unit in water. Do not operate without filter installed.

Drainage Options

Manual (Bucket): Unit stops when tank is full (Full light illuminates). Empty bucket and replace to resume.

Continuous: Connect standard garden hose (not included) to drain port. Ensure hose runs downward to floor drain or sink. Unit will operate continuously without stopping.

Note: For continuous drainage, ensure hose is not kinked and outlet is lower than drain port.
