Installation & Placement

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a flat, stable, and level surface.

  1. Clearance: Ensure at least 12 inches of clearance on all sides, especially air intake and exhaust.
  2. Room Selection: Place in the center of the room or area with highest humidity (e.g., basement, laundry room).
  3. Temperature Range: Operate within 41°F (5°C) to 95°F (35°C) for optimal performance.
  4. Power Connection: Plug directly into a grounded 120V AC outlet. Do not use an extension cord.

WARNING! Do not place near curtains, furniture, or other obstructions that block airflow. Keep away from water sources to prevent electrical hazard.

First-Time Setup

Power on the dehumidifier; the digital display will illuminate.

  1. Insert the empty water tank securely until it clicks into place.
  2. Set desired humidity: Press the HUMIDITY button, then use UP/DOWN arrows to select target (recommended 45-50%).
  3. Select mode: Press MODE to choose between Continuous, Auto, or Turbo.
  4. Set timer (optional): Press TIMER to program automatic start/stop times.
  5. Allow 24 hours for the unit to achieve the set humidity level in a new space.

Specifications

Controls and Settings

Access all functions via the digital control panel on top of the unit.

Control Panel: POWER, MODE, HUMIDITY, FAN SPEED, TIMER, UP/DOWN arrows, FILTER RESET indicator.

Modes: Auto (maintains set humidity), Continuous (runs constantly until tank is full or turned off), Turbo (maximum dehumidification), Quiet (low fan speed).

Settings: Humidity Level (adjustable), 24-Hour Timer (program start/stop), Fan Speed (High/Low), Filter Reset (indicator lights when cleaning is required).

Operation Modes

Select the mode best suited for your needs.

  1. Auto Mode: Unit cycles on/off automatically to maintain the set humidity level. Most energy-efficient.
  2. Continuous Mode: Runs non-stop until the tank is full or power is cut. Use for rapid drying.
  3. Turbo Mode: Fan runs at highest speed for maximum air circulation and moisture removal.
  4. Quiet Mode: Reduces fan speed for minimal noise, ideal for bedrooms or living areas at night.

Tip: Use Auto mode for everyday maintenance. Switch to Continuous or Turbo after water leaks or flooding.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Unplug the unit before any maintenance.

  1. Emptying the Tank: Remove tank when full alert sounds. Empty water, dry interior, and reinsert securely.
  2. Cleaning the Air Filter: Remove filter every 2 weeks or when FILTER light illuminates. Rinse under lukewarm water, let dry completely before reinstalling. Press and hold FILTER button for 3 seconds to reset indicator.
  3. Exterior Cleaning: Wipe cabinet with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasives.
  4. End-of-Season Storage: Empty and dry tank completely. Run unit in Fan Only mode for 30 minutes to dry internal components. Coil and store in a dry place.

CAUTION! Never operate without the filter. Do not immerse the unit in water.

Continuous Drainage

For unattended operation, connect a standard garden hose (not included).

  1. Ensure the unit is unplugged and the water tank is removed.
  2. Locate the drain outlet on the back of the unit.
  3. Connect a 5/8" inner diameter garden hose to the outlet. Ensure a tight fit.
  4. Route the hose to a floor drain, sink, or sump pump. Ensure the hose runs downward without kinks.
  5. Replace the empty water tank into its compartment. The unit will now drain continuously.

Note: The auto-shutoff function is disabled in continuous drainage mode. Ensure the drain path is clear.
