Installation & Placement

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a flat, stable surface.

  1. Remove all packaging materials and tape.
  2. Ensure unit is upright and level for proper operation.
  3. Position at least 6-12 inches away from walls and furniture for adequate airflow.
  4. Place in the center of the room or area with high moisture for best results.
  5. Ensure the power outlet is easily accessible and meets voltage requirements.

WARNING! Do not place on soft surfaces like carpets or rugs that may block air intake. Keep away from heat sources and direct sunlight.

First-Time Setup

Plug in the dehumidifier; follow initial setup steps.

  1. Insert the water tank securely into its compartment until it clicks.
  2. Plug the power cord into a grounded 120V AC outlet.
  3. Power on the unit using the POWER button on the control panel.
  4. Set desired humidity level using the UP/DOWN buttons (default is 50%).
  5. Select mode: CONTINUOUS for maximum moisture removal or AUTO for energy-saving operation.

Specifications

Controls and Settings

Access functions via the front control panel or remote control (if included).

Control Panel: POWER, MODE (Continuous/Auto/Timer), HUMIDITY SET (+/-), FAN SPEED (High/Low), TIMER SET, FILTER RESET.

Display Icons: Current Humidity %, Set Humidity %, Full Tank Alert, Filter Clean Alert, Defrost Mode, Timer Active.

Settings: Humidity Level (35%-85%), Fan Speed (High for fast dehumidification, Low for quiet operation), Timer (1-24 hours for automatic start/stop), Mode (Continuous runs until tank is full or turned off; Auto maintains set humidity).

Operation Modes

Select mode based on your needs.

  1. Auto Mode: Unit cycles on/off automatically to maintain the set humidity level. Most energy-efficient.
  2. Continuous Mode: Runs constantly until tank is full or manually turned off. Use for rapid moisture removal.
  3. Timer Mode: Program unit to turn on or off after a set delay (1-24 hours).
  4. Laundry Mode: (If applicable) High fan speed to dry clothes in enclosed space.
  5. Sleep Mode: Reduces display brightness and operates at lowest fan speed for quiet nighttime use.

Tip: Use Auto mode for everyday moisture control to save energy and extend component life.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity.

  1. Empty Water Tank: Remove and empty tank when full alert activates. Clean with mild detergent monthly.
  2. Clean Air Filter: Remove filter every 2 weeks; rinse under warm water; let dry completely before reinstalling.
  3. Exterior Cleaning: Unplug unit. Wipe casing with soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
  4. Coil Inspection: Check evaporator coil annually for dust; gently vacuum if dirty.
  5. Reset Filter Indicator: Press and hold FILTER RESET button for 3 seconds after cleaning filter.

WARNING! Always unplug the dehumidifier before performing any maintenance. Never immerse unit in water.

Drainage Options

Two methods for removing collected water.

  1. Manual Drainage (Tank): Use the removable tank. When full, indicator lights, unit shuts off. Pull tank out, carry to drain, empty, and reinsert.
  2. Continuous Drainage (Hose): For unattended operation. Attach a standard garden hose (not included) to the drain port at the back. Ensure hose runs downward to a floor drain or sink. Unit will drain continuously without shutting off.

CAUTION! For continuous drainage, ensure hose is secure and path is clear to prevent leaks or water damage.

Care & Storage

Proper care and storage extend product life.

Unplug before cleaning or storage. Empty and dry water tank completely. Clean filter and let dry. Wrap power cord and store in cord compartment. Store unit upright in a cool, dry place. Cover with a cloth or original box to prevent dust accumulation.

CAUTION! Do not store with water in tank. Do not place heavy objects on top of unit.
