Controls and Operation

Access all functions via the digital control panel. Front Panel: POWER, HUMIDITY, FAN SPEED, TIMER, LOCK.

Indicator Lights: POWER (green), FULL TANK (red), DEFROST (amber).

Basic Operation: Press POWER to turn on. Set target humidity with HUMIDITY buttons. Select fan speed (HIGH/LOW). The compressor will cycle on/off automatically to maintain set humidity. When tank is full, unit will shut off and red light will illuminate.

Advanced Features: TIMER for delayed start/stop (1-24 hours). CONTROL LOCK to prevent setting changes. Auto-defrost function activates in low temperatures to prevent coil freezing.

Water Removal Methods

Two options for water removal: manual bucket emptying or continuous drainage.

  1. Manual Emptying (Bucket):
    • When FULL TANK light illuminates, unit stops automatically.
    • Turn off and unplug the unit.
    • Grip handle, pull tank straight out.
    • Carry tank by handle to sink or drain, empty completely.
    • Replace tank securely; unit will resume operation if powered on.
  2. Continuous Drain (Hose):
    • Turn off and unplug unit.
    • Remove water tank.
    • Connect standard 5/8" inner diameter garden hose to drain port (hose not included).
    • Route hose to floor drain or sink, ensuring downward slope.
    • Replace tank; unit will operate continuously without shutdown for emptying.

Tip: For continuous drain, ensure hose is not kinked and drain location is lower than the drain port.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Unplug unit before any maintenance.

  1. Air Filter: Clean every 2-4 weeks or as needed.
    • Remove filter from rear grille.
    • Vacuum or rinse with lukewarm water.
    • Allow to dry completely before reinstalling.
  2. Water Tank: Clean monthly to prevent mold/mildew.
    • Empty tank.
