Installation & Placement

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on level, stable surface.

  1. Remove all packaging materials and tape from unit.
  2. Place dehumidifier on level floor with at least 12 inches clearance on all sides.
  3. Ensure room temperature is between 41°F (5°C) and 95°F (35°C) for optimal operation.
  4. Keep away from heat sources, direct sunlight, and obstructions to airflow.
  5. For initial use, allow unit to stand upright for 24 hours if transported on its side.

WARNING! Do not place in confined spaces or block air vents. Ensure proper electrical outlet (120V, 60Hz).

First-Time Setup

Plug into grounded outlet; follow initial setup steps.

  1. Insert water tank securely until it clicks into place.
  2. Plug power cord into grounded 120V outlet.
  3. Press POWER button to turn on unit.
  4. Set desired humidity level using UP/DOWN buttons (recommended: 45-50% RH).
  5. Select mode: AUTO (recommended), TURBO, or CONTINUOUS.
  6. For continuous drain: Connect hose to drain port before operation (see Section 8).

CAUTION! Handle water tank carefully when full (approx. 8.5 lbs). Use two hands.

Operating Modes

Three operating modes for different needs:

  3. CONTINUOUS Mode: Runs continuously regardless of humidity level. Use when constant dehumidification needed.

Timer Function: Set 1-24 hour schedule. Press TIMER, use UP/DOWN to set hours, press TIMER again to confirm.

Tip: For energy savings, use AUTO mode with humidity set to 45-50%.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity.

  1. Empty Water Tank: When FULL light illuminates, turn off unit, remove tank, empty, and replace.
  2. Clean Filter: Every 2-4 weeks, remove filter, wash with warm water, dry completely, reinstall, press FILTER RESET.
  3. Clean Exterior: Unplug unit, wipe with damp cloth. Do not use chemicals or abrasives.
  4. Clean Water Tank: Monthly, wash with mild detergent, rinse thoroughly.
  5. End-of-Season Storage: Empty tank, clean unit, wrap cord, store upright in dry location.

CAUTION! Always unplug before cleaning. Never immerse unit in water.

Continuous Drain Setup

For automatic water drainage without emptying tank.

  1. Turn off and unplug dehumidifier.
  2. Remove water tank.
  3. Connect standard garden hose (¾" diameter) to drain port at back of unit.
  4. Route hose to floor drain, sink, or sump pump (downward slope required).
  5. Replace water tank (unit will not operate without tank in place).
  6. Plug in and turn on unit; water will drain continuously.

Note: FULL indicator will not illuminate when using continuous drain. Ensure hose is not kinked.
