Installation & Placement

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on level, stable surface.

  1. Choose location: Place in center of room or area with high humidity, away from walls/furniture (at least 12-18 inches clearance).
  2. Ensure proper airflow: Keep air inlet and outlet grilles unobstructed.
  3. Check power: Use grounded 120V AC outlet; avoid extension cords.
  4. Install drain hose (optional): Attach to drain port for continuous drainage.

WARNING! Do not place in tight enclosures or near heat sources. Ensure unit is upright during operation.

First-Time Setup

Plug into power outlet; follow initial setup steps.

  1. Install water tank: Slide empty tank into base until it clicks.
  2. Power on: Press POWER button; unit will start in default mode.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Unplug unit before maintenance.

  1. Clean air filter: Remove filter every 2 weeks; rinse with warm water, air dry completely before reinstalling.
  2. Empty and clean water tank: Empty tank regularly; clean with mild detergent and soft cloth.
  3. Clean exterior: Wipe cabinet with damp cloth; do not use abrasive cleaners.

CAUTION! Do not immerse unit in water. Never operate without filter.

Drainage Options

Manual Drainage: Use removable tank; empty when FULL light comes on. Continuous Drainage: Attach 5/8" ID hose (not included) to drain port; route hose to floor drain or sink.

  1. For continuous drain: Remove tank, connect hose to rear port, ensure downward slope.
  2. Unit will operate continuously; tank can remain installed but will not fill.

Note: Ensure hose is securely attached to prevent leaks.
