Installation & Placement

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on level, stable floor.

  1. Clear area: Ensure at least 12 inches of clearance on all sides for proper airflow.
  2. Check level: Unit must be level for proper operation and drainage.
  3. Install drain hose (optional): Attach 5/8" inner diameter hose to drain port for continuous draining.
  4. Plug into grounded 115V AC outlet.

WARNING! Do not place near heat sources or in direct sunlight. Ensure room temperature is between 41°F and 95°F for optimal performance.

First-Time Setup

Power on dehumidifier; set initial preferences.

  1. Insert water tank: Ensure tank is properly seated and empty.
  2. Set desired humidity: Use HUMIDITY CONTROL buttons to select target level (recommended 45-50%).
  3. Select fan speed: Choose between NORMAL and TURBO modes.
  4. Set timer (optional): Program start/stop times using TIMER buttons.
  5. For continuous drain: Connect hose and ensure downward slope for gravity flow.

CAUTION! Handle water tank carefully to avoid spills. Do not operate without air filter installed.

Specifications

Controls and Settings

Control Panel: POWER, HUMIDITY UP/DOWN, FAN SPEED (Normal/Turbo), TIMER SET, FILTER RESET indicator.

Display: Current humidity, target humidity, timer settings, filter alert, full tank indicator.

Humidity Setting: Adjust in 5% increments. Fan Speed: Normal for quiet operation, Turbo for maximum moisture removal. Timer: Set in 1-hour increments up to 24 hours. Filter Reset: Press and hold FILTER button for 3 seconds after cleaning filter. Auto-Defrost: Activates automatically in low temperatures to prevent coil freezing.

Operation Modes

Standard, Continuous, and Timer modes available.

  1. Standard Mode: Unit runs until target humidity is reached, then cycles on/off to maintain.
  2. Continuous Mode: Runs continuously regardless of humidity level (select "CONT" on humidity control).
  3. Timer Mode: Set unit to turn on/off at specific times.
  4. Turbo Mode: Increases fan speed for faster dehumidification in high humidity conditions.

Tip: Use Continuous mode for initial drying of very damp spaces, then switch to Standard mode.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Unplug unit before any maintenance.

  1. Clean air filter: Remove monthly, wash with mild detergent, rinse, dry completely before reinstalling.
  2. Empty water tank: When FULL indicator lights, remove tank, pour out water, replace securely.
  3. Clean exterior: Wipe with soft, damp cloth; do not use abrasive cleaners.
  4. Clean water tank: Periodically wash with mild soap to prevent mold/mildew.
  5. End-of-season storage: Empty tank, run in fan-only mode for 30 minutes to dry coils, clean filter, store in dry place.

WARNING! Never immerse unit in water. Do not operate without filter.

Draining Options

Two methods: Manual (water tank) or Continuous (drain hose).

Manual Draining: Unit stops when tank is full (indicator lights). Remove tank, carry to drain, empty, replace.

Continuous Draining: Attach 5/8" ID hose to drain port. Ensure hose has downward slope without kinks. Unit will drain automatically without stopping.
